Celebrating the launch of our Corporate Responsibility Reports 2007

O2 has just published its latest Corporate Responsibility Reports, which provide detailed information on how we are managing the social and environmental effects of our business.

In this sixth year of reporting we have produced tailored Corporate Responsibility Reports in O2 markets, designed to complement Telefónica’s Global Report with bespoke, locally relevant information.

Telefónica S.A.’s 2007 Corporate Responsibility Report covers all of Telefónica’s global operations and comprises an extensive online report as well as an Executive Summary for download, available in English or Spanish. The online report features an interactive map - the ‘CR Atlas’ - where you can easily access corporate responsibility information on whichever country of operation you’re interested in.

Telefónica O2 UK has published an online report containing detailed information on key topics such as the environment and sustainability, child protection and health and mobiles. This includes news about our smart metering’ energy-efficiency scheme and the 500 projects supported by the ‘It’s Your Community’ programme during 2007.

‘What does the future say to you?’ is the opening challenge in Telefónica O2 Ireland’s printed report. Focusing on the key issues O2’s business in Ireland is facing, find out more about the O2 Ability Awards programme or the successful partnership with Irish Autism Action.

Telefónica O2 Germany GmbH & Co OHG has published an in-depth and interactive online report which hosts stakeholder video statements and a video message from Jaime Smith Basterra, Chief Executive Officer. Currently available in the German language only, it’s called ‘O2 – committed to tomorrow’ and will highlight a featured corporate responsibility issue every few months.
