MUNICH. The BlackBerry® BoldTM 9000 will be available from Telefónica O2 Germany for business customers and self-employed from mid September. The new BlackBerry® supports the rapid UMTS/HSDPA technology. The chic design in exclusive leather optics and the high-resolution display underline the elegant and innovative character of the smart phone. Applications like email push, organizer and multimedia player as well as the navigation through the integrated GPS receiver with preinstalled BlackBerry Maps Software ensure the optimal mobile use of the BlackBerry Bold 9000.
The large TFT color display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels enables the comfortable viewing of web sites, mobile working with important business applications and the flexible reading and responding to emails. Thanks to the QWERTZ keyboard, users can simply and rapidly write emails and view files in all popular Office formats. The proven BlackBerry push technology automatically transfers all new incoming messages to the smart phone. As a result, users are able to do their work mobile almost as if they were in the office.
The BlackBerry Bold makes surfing the mobile web extremely comfortable. The support of the rapid UMTS/HSDPA data transfer enables surfing the web almost everywhere in Germany. In addition, the new communications all-rounder supports WLAN and transmits mobile data in coverage areas outside UMTS via EDGE and GPRS as well. The integrated loudspeakers, polyphone ring tones in MP3 and MIDI format as well as the media player for playing music and videos complement the options of the new BlackBerry on the road.
Business customers with a frame contract with O2 can combine the new BlackBerry Bold 9000 with a O2 Blackberry option for all O2 business mobile tariffs. In connection with the O2 Business Flat Pro tariff (with mobile phone), costs amount to € 100.83 net. Self-employed choose from the models Curve and Pearl and one additional device. They may combine the BlackBerry Bold by ordering the Blackberry Option offered by O2 and an Internet Pack M or L with all O2 Genion and O2 Inclusive Package tariffs. Customers who book an Internet Pack M currently get the BlackBerry option for free. Self-employed pay, for example, € 79.90 for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 in connection with the O2 Genion–L tariff including a mobile phone.
