O2 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telefónica S.A

On 7 March 2006, O2 became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telefónica S.A. and O2's ordinary shares were delisted from the London Stock Exchange.

We have brought our financial year in line with that of Telefónica S.A. (i.e. to follow the calendar year). We now report financial results quarterly in London, immediately following the issue of Telefónica results in Madrid. Telefónica results also contain the O2 performance data.
