Conserving resources

O2 does not make anything that requires water use or discharge into water streams. O2’s water use mainly occurs in offices.

Our water consumption figures are shown in the chart below. The figures show water consumption for our businesses in the UK, Germany and the Czech Republic, excluding Airwave, O2 Ireland and Manx Telecom, where we have yet to collect the data. The water use per employee tends to remain stable unless we have changed premises. At every new office we occupy, we try to conserve water as part of the building design.
