
Justine Campbell was appointed Group General Counsel of O2 in October 2006. She joined O2 on its formation and prior to this held the position of Head of Competition Law, responsible for European and national competition law matters across the Group. Justine has been involved in the telecommunications industry since 1999, when she joined BT plc as a senior competition counsel.
Before joining BT, she spent five years as a lawyer with Freshfields, in London and Brussels, as a member of their specialist anti-trust group advising on competition law aspects of mergers and acquisitions, anti-trust investigations and strategic alliances. She holds a degree in law from Trinity College, Dublin in 1991 and qualified as a solicitor in 1995.
